I thought it was a quite expensive considering it was a 60s or 70s hotel that had been cheaply renovated in the back of a Burger King parking lot. I think the price should have been $50-60 a night. I will definitely look more into staying at a better hotel for the price point in the future.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was excellent large spacious for the price. The best thing of all it was really and truly a non-smoking room not one that was suppose to be but others smoked in it.
Update: We were back in the area on 09/18/2017, and decided to try Motel 6 again. This time, the room was great with no mold or issues to speak of. However, at 10:35 the following morning, the front desk called rushing us out of the room. Lady stated that checkout was 11:00. I advised her we were in the process of finishing up and would be leaving shortly. She stated they needed to clean rooms, so she needed us to hurry. Based off this single incident, we will NOT stay at this particular hotel again. The motel itself is nice and in a decent location, but the unprofessionalism is uncalled for. Up until this incident, they have always been very nice and accommodating. The sad thing is, I looked it up, and we have stayed at this particular motel 10 times in the last 2 months alone. Not counting the other months. Oh well, I'm sure another motel/hotel will accommodate us. Good luck Motel 6.
I was initially startled by the outside appearance of the motel. It's definitely dated; however, once inside, my mind was put to ease. The room has been extensively remodeled. The only reason for the 3-star rating is mold was growing on the shower curtain, but not bad. The ceiling above the shower had extensive mold growth. Appears upstairs shower is leaking or has recently leaked. This definitely needs to be addressed. Room 109 is the room with current mold issue. See pictures posted on google.
I stayed here this past weekend, the price was very reasonable at 2 nights for 118.00 total. I expected an average room to sleep, I was shocked to find a fantastic room with a platform king size bed, 42 inch television on the wall, great sitting area with a table and an extremely clean room and bathroom. Also a mini fridge and microwave!, I will stay again while in the area and I will also recommend it to all my friends!
There has been many updates done to this motel. This is the only motel in the area for several miles either way. I went to check in early hours of the morning and had to wait on someone to come check me in the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a resturant on the same property as the motel that has home cooked style food.
